The 888poker ChampionChip Games series is almost over with only the closing ceremony and the trio of Main Events needing to crown their champions. Over the weekend, three more 888poker players got their hands on ChampionChip titles, including a first medal and victory for Estonia.

Event #19 – Sport Climbing (PKO) ChampionChip Games

Estonia's maiden ChampionChip Games victory came in Event #19, the $22 buy-in Sport Climbing PKO tournament. Some 729 players bought in and created a $14,580 prize pool.

Two players hailing from Kazakhstan navigated their way to the nine-handed final table, but neither managed to finish in the top three places. "damageDEALER" busted in eighth for a total prize worth $322, while "KeepAnEyeOnU" saw their tournament end in a fifth-place finish worth $4,911.

"craigc212" of the United Kingdom finished in third for $968, and their demise left "geniuspoker" of Germany heads-up against "Inail" of Estonia. Both players were guaranteed a four-figure haul for their efforts, but it was Inail who captured the larger of the two prizes after defeating their final opponent heads-up. Geniuspoker walked away with $1,446 for their runner-up finish, leaving Inail to bank the title of champion in addition to $2,108.

The United Kingdom won its second gold after the tournament ended in a British one-two. "Persuiter09" and "DoobieFish" found themselves heads-up, and both were guaranteed $458 from the main prize pool. Either player would have been a worthy champion but the night belonged to Persuiter09, who added $347 worth of bounties to their tally for a combined prize tipping the scale at $805. Event #21 – Skateboarding (PKO) ChampionChip Games

It would not be a ChampionChip Games round-up without a Brazilian star taking down one of the 888poker tournaments, would it? "Gabzinha.zo" ensured Brazil stays at the top of the medal table by triumphing in Event #21 – Skateboarding PKO, a result worth $383. That score would be nice enough to land in your account, but especially so when the tournament only cost $3.30 to enter.

The top four finishers from a field of 688 saw their $3.30 investment swell to three figures in size. "Knoxtod" of Austria netted $133, with "Eazysoda" reeling in a $158 haul. Gabzinha.zo defeated Andorran "briuselink" in the one-on-one battle, leaving the runner-up to capture a $253 prize.

Current ChampionChip Medal Table

With only the Mini Main Event, Micro Main Event, the $200,000 guaranteed ChampionChip Games Main Event, and the closing ceremony tournament left to play, Brazil leads the way in the medal table with an impressive eight golds, three silvers, and two bronzes, for a total medal haul of 13. Ukraine is hot on Brazil's heels with 11 medals, however, only three of those are gold, meaning Brazil looks to have run away with the series; Vamos!
