Kenney Crushed in Brutal Cooler
Without question, the hand of the day was a brutal cooler involving start-of-the-day chip leader Bryn Kenney and Foxen. You can read about that hand in full in this standalone PokerNews article, but suffice it to say it an instant Wynn Millions classic.
Others to bow out on Day 2ab were Sean Perry, Faraz Jaka, Jason Somerville, Joseph Cheong, Vanessa Kade, Brian Altman, David Peters, Ali Imsirovic, Shaun Deeb, Tony Dunst, Nick Schulman, and former WSOP champs Scott Baumstein, Joe McKeehen, Damian Salas, and Joe Cada.
The 2009 WSOP Main Event champ bowed out in the penultimate level of the night when he three-bet all in from the small blind holding pocket jacks. The initial raiser, Kuether, called with king-eight and promptly spiked a king on the flop to end the run of the four-time bracelet winner.
