Monday, Feb. 15 witnessed the the 169 surviving opening day players in the partypoker MILLIONS Online $1,100 Mini Main Event from the original field of 1,127 entrants whittled down to a small field of just 25 players after 10 blind levels of 30-minutes each were played out.

Daniel Smiljkovic will head into Day 3 with a chip leading stack of 133,639,726 in chips closely followed by Laszlo Molnar with a stack of 127,876,651.

There is a big gap behind this duo with the rest of the top ten on the leaderboard, which includes the likes of Leonid Orman, Jamie Oconnor, Day 1a chip leader Sebastian Camilo Toro Henao, Jon Ander Martinez De Antonana, Francois Pirault, Justin Ouimette, Rui Miguel Nogueira Da Silva E Sousa, Carlos Chadha-Villamarin, amassing stacks between 60 to 70 million in chips.

Meanwhile, polarizing poker personality William Kassouf will head into Day 3 with a stack of 26,467,500.

Kassouf, who has had recent success at partypoker after shipping the Irish Poker Masters €1,100 Main Event in December 2020 for €215,163, prides himself with his personal mantra of "in for the min, out with the max" shared on social media that he qualified for this event in a $109 satellite and now has his eyes on another huge payday.

Two-time WSOP champion Elio Fox was unable to parlay his Day 1b chip leading stack into Day 3 and was instead ousted in 75th place for $2,809.

Day 3 of the Mini Main Event Kicks Off Today!

The Mini Main Event resumes on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7:05 p.m. GMT (2:05 p.m. EST) with just 25 hopefuls seeking to battle their way to tomorrow's nine-max final table and beyond.

The structure becomes deeper on Day 3 with 40-minute blind levels throughout the day as compared to 30-minute levels on Day 2 and the 25-minute levels on the opening days.

All of the survivors are guaranteed at least a $5,607 payday. This will surge to at least $14,827 if they make the final table with the chance of winning the $184,507 top prize.

Blinds will begin at 400,000/800,000 with an ante of 100,000. While this might sound big, there is still plenty of action to be had with an average stack of more than 56 big blinds to start the day.

Murat Arikan Wins the MILLIONS Online #02 Mini Second Chance Turbo ($14,821)

The MILLIONS Online festival declared its first winner last night at partypoker and it wasn't in the Mini Main Event. Instead, it was Murat Arikan who claimed this honor after shipping the MILLIONS Online #02 Mini Second Chance Turbo for $14,821 after more than 4 1/2 hours of play.

The event featured a $50,000 guarantee, but this was merely a placeholder with 121 entrants ponying up the $530 buy-in to generate a $60,500. The event paid out 20 spots for at least $1,071 for more than double the buy-in.

Arikan was joined on the podium by Stoyan Kitanov (second - $9,537) and Alastair Patrick Smith (third - $6,545). Others at the final table included Rick De Boer, Brener Henrique Vicente, Arnaud Enselme, Kasper Sonne Juulsen, Sarah Forbes, and Byron Kaverman.
