Michael Addamo Wins the MILLIONS Online #28 Mega High Roller ($1,310,715)
The two-day MILLIONS Online #28 Mega High Roller kicked off Sunday evening with 35 entrants generating a $3.5 million prize pool to smash the $3 million guarantee. The final table was broadcasted live on the partypoker YouTube channel with hosts James Dempsey, Patrick Leonard, and Henry Kilbane announcing the action on a delay with hole cards exposed.
Florian Loehnert was the favorite to ship the event after entering last night's six-player final table with more than half of the chips. The eventual winner Michael Addamo was the closest player to Loehnert to start things off even though he had less than one-third of the chip leader's chip count.
Artur Martirosian kicked the final table off behind Loehnert and Addamo with Jake Schindler, partypoker Ambassador Mikita Badziakouski, and Christoph Vogelsang coming with the shortest stacks.
Schlinder (sixth - $225,785) was the first casualty at the final table after he jammed his short-stack with queen-jack suited from the small blind and didn't get there against Addamo's jacks.
Badziakouski appeared to be in excellent shape to double but instead was eliminated in fifth place for $269,500 after a bad beat was delivered by Martirosian. The hand began with Badizakouski opening the button with tens. Martirosian three-bet jammed with ten-nine off from the small blind and Badziakouski called. Four clubs ran out on the board to give Martirosian a flush and Badziakouski was sent packing in brutal fashion.

Loehnert then lost a hand to Vogelsang which gave Martirosian the chip lead by default. A short while later, Loehnert took the lead back after winning a hand against Martirosian before Addamo won a hand against Vogelsang to claim the lead for himself.
The chip lead continued to change hands. It went back over to Loehnert before Addamo claimed it again. The a big hand took place that witnessed Vogelsang take the chip lead and sent Martirosian to the rail in fourth place for $364,000 when his ace-nine suited didn't get there against Vogelsang's suited big slick.
The lead then shuffled three-handed with all three players being the table's captain at one point before the game-changing hand of the final table took place.
Vogelsang committed his stack on the turn with ace-four holding two pair and needed a miracle to get past the better two pair held by Addamo with ace-seven. No miracle came on the river and Vogelsang was eliminated in third place for $525,000.
Addamo entered the heads-up battle with Loehnert with a small chip advantage. Small or not, the heads-up play lasted just one hand. Addamo, with nine-four suited, jammed the river with a flush. Loehnert, with queen-five, called off with two pair and was awarded the $805,000 runner-up prize after he got the bad news.
Meanwhile, congrats to Michael Addamo for shipping the Mega High Roller for $1,310,715 to put a glorious end to the MILLIONS Online at partypoker.
