PokerStars wants to send as many of its players to the upcoming PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC), which takes place in January 2023 as part of the relaunched PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). The online poker giant already has the Mega Path and Road to PSPC promotions running, and now has the PSPC Ticket Machine for players to get their teeth into.

The PSPC Ticket Machine promises to pay out more than $500,000 worth of Mega Path tickets before October 30, 2022, and getting your hands on one of the free tickets is easy for even players who do not log much volume.

Opt into the PSPC Ticket Machine promotion via the "Challenges" window of your PokerStars account, then complete any of the following poker challenges during the week to be entered into the next available draw; complete multiple challenges for extra entries and increase your chances of walking away with a free PSPC Mega Path ticket.

  • Play ten Zoom cash game hands
  • Play three Spin & Go tournaments
  • Play two multi-table tournaments

As you can see, the challenges do not require much effort, yet completing them gives you the chance win anything from a Step 0 ticket up to a Step 4 ticket worth $1,000.

The PSPC Mega Path Step 4 ran at PokerStars on June 12 and saw 68 players fight it out for a $30,000 Platinum Pass. Germany's "ch0c0G0Pkr23" finished in first place while Marc "Rowniwn" Radgen finished second, and both will be heading to The Bahamas in January 2023 to play in the massive PSPC for a fraction of its buy-in.

In addition, the players who finished in third through sixth place get another shot at a $1,000 Step 4, with the seventh-place finisher netting $763.20 in cash.

What Is a PSPSC Platinum Pass?

The PSPC Platinum Pass, which is valued at an incredible $30,000, gives its winner a fantastic package containing the following:

  • $25,000 buy-in to the 2023 PSPC Event
  • Six nights' accommodation for the Platinum Pass winner and a guest
  • $1,900 in expenses
  • Airport transfers
  • Bespoke PSPC merchandise
  • Platinum Pass winner experiences during the PSPC

Ramon Colillas was a Platinum Pass winner when he took town the inaugural $25,000 PSPC event at the 2019 PCA. The Spaniard, who is now part of Team PokerStars, came out on top of a 1,039-strong field to secure the $5,100,000 top prize and a play in poker's history books.

The COVID-19 pandemic scuppered plans for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 PSPC, but everything points towards the 2023 PSPC happening at the PCA, and knowing PokerStars as we do, you can expect this event to be nothing short of spectacular.
