$43,500 Makes Its Way to eggyTOSSER
British grinder "eggyTOSSER" got their hands on the largest prize of the WPTDeepStacks festival so far, one worth an impressive $43,500. Exactly 250 players bought into Event #17 - $200,000 Crazy 8, but it was eggyTOSSER who outlasted them all in this $888 buy-in tournament.
Big names littered the final table. Finnish pro Tomi "wellyxx" Brouk was one of the first finalists heading to the exits, he crashed out in seventh place for $7,000.
Legendary Swede Niklas "tutten7" Astedt almost reached heads-up but fell at the final hurdle and had to console himself with the $24,000 third-place prize. Astedt's exit left eggyTOSSER heads-up against Pedro "GritinhO_Dzi" Garagnani in a battle for the lion's share of the spoils. The one-on-one clash went the way of eggyTOSSER, and they collected $43,500, leaving Garagnani to bank $31,000.

alainliam Wins WPTDeepStacks Title For Morocco
Morocco has itself a WPTDeepStacks champion after "alainliam" was the last player standing in Event #19 - $100,000 9-Max. Some 286 players bought in for $320, leaving 888poker with a small overlay on the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The top three finishers turned their $320 investment into a five-figure haul. Tomi "wellyxx" Brouk, fresh from a final table appearance in Event #17, fell in fourth for $8,100.
Malta's "SevintySync" reeled in an $11,180 prize for their third-place finish, before alainliam defeated "Octopokes" heads-up for the title and the $21,230 top prize. Octopokes swam away with $15,300 in tow.
