Move over the Super Bowl as PokerStars has enshrined today, February 7, as International Bluff Day for today and forever more.
In much of the world, the shorthand for February 7 is simply 7/2 to represent the seventh day of Gregorian calendar. In the poker world we can easily translate into seven-deuce, one of the worst starting hands in Texas hold'em.
Presenter, Commentator & Senior Editorial Manager for PokerStars TV shows James Hartigan explains how PokerStars came up with International Bluff Day in a short one-minute animated clip below.

Five Amazing Bluffs
Hartigan and co-commentator Joe Stapleton celebrate International Bluff Day by presenting five amazing bluffs. We don't want to give away too many spoilers but the first name involved is very fitting with Liv Boeree getting a bluff through with a cold four-bet holding queen-eight suited.
Boeree proved back in 2007 that bluffing wasn't only for poker as she also infamously bluffed her opponent on the ITV TV show Golden Balls.
Other big names pulling off bluffs in the over 12 minute video include Daniel Negreanu, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, and Ludovic Geilich before Benny Spindler caps things off with a casual seven-bet jam with king-jack.
