The PokerStars Turbo Series has reached its final week but the fast-paced festival is showing no signs of slowing down just yet.

Shaban was one of 4,935 entrants in the Turbo Series 88: $11 NLHE 6-Max event, a tournament with a $50,000 guarantee. The popular Twitch streamer managed to navigate his way to the final table of the event and was understandably pleased to turn his one $11 bullet into a four-figure prize. KKruchitAAs Takes Down $530 PKO 6-Max Event For Almost $60,000

Argentina’s “KKruchitAAs” banked the biggest Turbo Series prize over the past couple of day courtesy of taking down the $530 PKO 6-Max event. Some 751 players bought in and the Argentinian outlasted them all.

First place prize money weighed in at $27,088 but winning came with $32,907 worth of bounties for a combined score worth $59,995.

The final table was not the easiest to navigate because it was the home to some top poker talent. Former WSOP Main Event champion [PLAYER="martin-jacobson"]Martin “M.nosbocaJ” Jacobson[/PLAYER] busted in sixth with Diego “Die Ventura” Ventura falling in fifth.

Russia’s “DissForYou” and Czech grinder “Vocaaas” were the next casualties before KKruchitAAs and Diego “Mr.Bittar” Bittar fought it out one-on-one for the title. Bittar lost the heads-up match and had to make do with a combined prize worth $33,572, leaving the champion to net almost $60,000.

Turbo Series Main Events Runs March 7

Both the High and Low Turbo Series Main Events shuffle up and deal this weekend, 7:30 p.m. GMT on March 7 to be exact.

The $55 NLHE 8-Max Main Event Low has a cool $1 million guaranteed prize pool while the $1,050 High has $2 million guaranteed. Satellites for both Main Events are running in the PokerStars tournament lobby right now.

Eighty-eight events have now crowned their champions and a cool $2,368,237 has been paid out to those players who finished in first place in those tournaments. $433,077 of that princely sum stems from the bounty payments.

Turbo tournaments are still as popular as ever, as is evident by the 301,308 players, including 61,944 re-entries, who have played a Turbo Series tournament so far. With 46 events still to play, those numbers and the $17,273,342 total prize pools so far, will rise to even more impressive sums.
