An incredible $2,535,656 of that sum is yet to be distributed because the final table commences at 6:00 p.m. GMT on March 2. Seth Davies is the man to catch when the cards are back in the air.

Seth Davies has played all but seven of the 38 Super MILLION$ tournaments GGPoker has run so far. Six cashes and two final tables have seen Davies win $237,138 from this event. The $74,821 he is guaranteed to win today ensures he is turning a profit in one of the toughest online poker tournaments in the world.

Davies banked $487,215 during the WSOPC Series when he won the $25,000 High Roller. Finishing in second or better today sees him best that impressive haul.

Second place at the restart belongs to Matthias Eibinger, another familiar face to those who tune into the Super MILLION$ live streams. This is the fifth time Eibinger has navigated his way to the final table, but he is yet to take one down. A brace of runner-up finishes are Eibinger’s best results, his bridesmaid finish on November 12 being his biggest Super MILLION$ score, namely $583,698.

Russia’s Arsneii Malinov is already guaranteed a fantastic ROI in this event courtesy of winning his seat from a $2,500 satellite. The man formerly known at GGPoker as “BlindPew” sits down at his fourth Super MILLION$ final table and hopes to at least match the fourth place he achieved in September 2020. Malinov has more than 60 big blinds at his disposal so is a serious threat to his table mates.

Returning in fourth place with a 58 big blind stack is Aleksejs Ponakovs. The Estonian is one of the world’s elite grinders and a player who has competed in all but one of the GGPoker Super MILLION$ ever run. He too is yet to triumph in one of these high roller events, but he does have a second-place finish to his name. Can Ponakovs get the monkey off his back this evening?

Joao Vieira takes his seat at what is his third Super MILLION$ final table know a sixth-place finish will beat his previous best score from this tournament. Vieira finished fifth back in August 2020 and walked away with $146,846 for his troubles. Sixth-place in this event weighs in at almost $170,000. The Luxembourg-based Portuguese star finds himself in the middle of the pack, but can he keep under the radar for much longer?

Team partypoker pro Jason Koon makes a rare Super MILLION$ appearance this week; this is only the ninth time he has bought in. Despite his low volume, this is Koon’s fourth cash and second final table. His previous final table ended in a fourth-place finish worth $164,427. Koon takes his virtual seat with a shade over 30 big blinds, write off his chances of glory at your peril.

The Shorter Stacks

Down in seventh-place with 18.5 big blinds is David Coleman, formerly known as “ButtonSmashingMonkey”. Coleman has been on a tear of late so it is not surprising to see his name at this final table. He may be relatively short-stacked, but is only a double away from being a major threat to those around him.

Germany’s “REPTAR” has taken a shot at this tournament for only the fourth time and is now guaranteed the largest cash of his GGPoker career. He won $44,945 by taking down one of the earlier GGMasters tournaments and is now guaranteed almost $75,000. REPTAR has a 14.3 big blind stack to play with, putting him close to the danger zone, but anything can and does happen in this crazy game.

Daniel Dvoress is one player who has his work cut out if he wants to get his hands on the $661,743 top prize. Why? Because his 212,440 chips represent only 7.1 big blinds. Dvoress can, if anyone can, turn this around. He has won more than $6 million at GGPoker alone, including his incredible $1,489,289 score for triumphing in the $1,500 Millionaire Maker WSOP event last summer.
