Mike Watson is a Canadian poker player and two-time European Poker Tour (EPT) champion with over $20 million in live tournament earnings.
"SirWatts" won his maiden EPT Main Event title in 2016 by taking down the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event for $728,325. Seven years later, Watson won the 2023 EPT Monte Carlo Main Event for $825,731 to become just the third player in poker history to earn live EPT Main Event titles.
"It's an amazing accomplishment," Watson said after the victory. "You know, winning two main events on the same tour is really hard. And yeah, I just feel really lucky that I was able to pull it off today."

Watson's success is far from limited to the European Poker Tour. In 2008, Watson received his biggest career cash and a World Poker Tour (WPT) title by taking down the $15,000 WPT Bellagio Cup IV for $1.7 million.
A few years later, Watson took down the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Cannes €50,000 Majestic Roller for $1.3 million.
The Canadian has had plenty of other big scores on the high roller circuit, having won a €50,000 High Roller at 2022 EPT Barcelona for $895,933 and a 2023 Triton Super High Roller Series Vietnam $50,000 Short Deck event for $695,000.
