Brian Altman is an American poker player. He is a three-time World Poker Tour (WPT) Main Event champion. He has also won three WSOP Circuit rings, most recently in February 2022. In June 2022, he won his first WSOP bracelet in the $400 NLHE Online Event for $110,662.
Altman started playing poker in high school after watching Chris Moneymaker win the WSOP Main Event.
His first WPT title came in 2015 winning the Lucky Hearts Poker Open for $723,000.
Three years later he won the tournament again, becoming the first player to win the same WPT Main Event twice.
His third title came 18 months later, winning the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Main Event. He was the seventh player to win three WPT titles. He also was named Season 18 WPT Player of the Year.
