Adrian Mateos is a Spanish poker player. During his career he has won four World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, including the 2013 WSOP Europe Main Event. During his career he has also won an EPT Main Event and a partypoker MILLIONS Main Event.
He is a Winamax ambassador, and is widely considered one of the best poker players under 30. In 2017, he became the youngest player ever to win a WSOP bracelet aged just 22.
Poker Achievements
Mateos' first poker cashes came in Madrid in late 2012, with the Spaniard taking down the ESPT Madrid Main Event in early 2013. Later that year, still only 19 years old, Mateos won the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event for €1,000,000.
After continuing to grind across Europe in 2014, Mateos clinched another breakout success in May of 2015. He defeated Muhyedine Fares heads-up to win the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event for €1,082,000.

Mateos narrowly missed out on the final table of EPT Dublin in February 2016, but secured his second WSOP bracelet later that year in Las Vegas after winning Event #33: $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Summer Solstice for $409,171.
Now regularly playing and cashing in High Rollers around the world, Mateos narrowly missed out on another seven-figure cash at the EPT Monte Carlo €50,000 High Roller in April 2017 for €908,000.
More High Roller success would follow at the Aria the following month, with June seeing Mateos win another landmark bracelet event in the WSOP $10,000 Heads Up Championship for his third bracelet.
2017 was highlighted again by more high-roller success, at the Poker Masters in Las Vegas, the Triton Super High Roller Series in Macau or at the PokerStars Championship in Prague. It saw him reach the Global Poker Index #1 ranking in December that year.
The following year was kicked off by a fourth-place finish in the PCA Main Event and more High Roller success at the partypoker MILLIONS Barcelona Grand Final.
As a Winamax ambassador, Mateos clinched victory in the Winamax SISMIX in May 2018. The following year, Mateos returned to Las Vegas cashing six times but failing to win another bracelet. Later that year, he won partypoker MILLIONS World Bahamas for $1.1 million.
When live poker resumed in 2021, Mateos won his fourth WSOP bracelet in the $250,000 Super High Roller.

Over the course of his career, playing under the username "Amadi_017", Mateos has won five SCOOP and four WCOOP titles on PokerStars. He is also a former GGPoker Super MILLION$ champion.
