Martin Jacobson is a Swedish poker player who won the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event. He famously finished Day 1a as chip leader, and rode it all the way to victory for $10 million.
Biography
Jacobson's first recorded cash came in 2008, and amassed a number of cashes around Europe and at the World Series of Poker. He finished second in the 2009 WPT Venice Main Event, and followed that up with two European Poker Tour Main Event runner-up finishes in Vilamoura (2010) and Deauville (2011).
The Swede would final-table the $111,111 One Drop High Roller in 2013 for $807,427, the largest cash of his career. However, the following year he would secure poker's biggest title and $10 million after winning the 2014 WSOP Main Event. He defeated fellow Scandinavian Felix Stephensen heads-up.

Since his Main Event victory, Jacobson continued to play poker around the world and was an 888poker Team Ambassador for a period of time. In 2017, he again final-tabled the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop as well as the $10,000 Tag Team Championship — he finished sixth both times. He final-tabled the 2018 Marathon at the WSOP for $155,062, finishing fifth.

Ryan Riess is an American poker player who won the 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.
In 2017, he added a World Poker Tour title and has amassed over $15 million in live earnings over the course of his career.
Biography
Riess' first recorded tournament cash came in 2012 with a runner-up finish in the WSOP Circuit Hammond Main Event for $239,0763.
A little over a year later, he was world champion. He defeated Jay Farber heads-up to win over $8.3 million in prize money after besting a field of 6,352 players.
“The title means everything,” Riess said after his win. “The money’s great, but being a professional poker player, money comes and goes... The title is everything. I would not be happy with second place.”
In 2018, he narrowly missed out on the WSOP Europe Main Event, finishing fourth behind eventual winner Jack Sinclair.
The following year, he made the final table of the EPT Monte-Carlo Main Event, again falling in fourth place and narrowly missing out on a Triple Crown.
