Poker Achievements
Baker's first recorded cash came in 2008, with Baker cashing in the WSOP Main Event later that year. Two years later, Baker would get his hands on a WSOP bracelet, defeating an incredibly stacked final table in Event #19: $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship that included Daniel Negreanu, George Danzer, Erik Seidel and John Monnette.
Two years later, he would win another mixed game bracelet in the prestigious Event #32: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E.
Coincidentally, Monnette was also at this final table, finishing second as Baker took home $451,779.
Baker would continue to cash almost exclusively at the WSOP, with five top-ten finishes in 2013 alone. In 2018, he finished second in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E., before two top-five finishes in 2019.
In 2021, Baker finally got his hands on a third WSOP bracelet in Event #34: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw.
“It feels amazing. I wanted it real bad," Baker said in a post-win interview with PokerNews. “I don’t know what I was doing heads-up those last few times.”
