The 2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online $5,300 Main Event has crowned its winner. Start-of-the-day chip leader Endrit Geci took it down for $774,838 after having had agreed upon a heads-up deal with Francisco Correia. Runner-up Correia walked away $731,960 richer.

Daniel Dvoress and partypoker sponsored pro Dzmitry Urbanovich finished in third and fourth place, respectively, while high roller Christian Rudolph ended up in sixth. The tournament attracted a total 1,084 entries to get to a prize pool of $5,420,000.

Geci's previous biggest recorded cash on The Hendon Mob is a runner-up finish in last summer's online WSOP bracelet series ($223,978), while his biggest live score stands at ~$55K. Needless to say, this score dwarfs all his previous accomplishments and establishes the Brit's name with a bang.

Final Table Action

Jonathan Proudfoot came back for the final table with the second-shortest stack and saw his day end after a mere twenty minutes when he called the four-bet of Gelonezi with ace-queen suited. Gelonezi held pocket tens and even though Proudfoot picked up a gutshot to a straight on the turn, it didn't materialize on the river.

Another twenty minutes later, Martin Brinkmann left the final table stage when he ran his queen-jack into the aces of Geci. Brinkman flopped a lot of outs when Geci had hit a set. The turn gave Geci a full house to leave Brinkmann with one out for a royal flush but he bricked the river to see him cash $91,542 after having qualified through a $530 satellite.

Richard Mullen was another player who got his Main Event seat by qualifying in a $530 satellite and departed with queen-jack as well, unable to improve against Rudolph's ace-nine. Rudolph, however, subsequently lost all of it to Geci after bricking with ace-king against tens.

Dzmitry Urbanovich
partypoker Team Pro Dzmitry Urbanovich finished in 4th place ($276,128)

With the elimination, Geci had a commanding chip lead with 45% of all the chips in play with five players left in the tournament. After Hermogenes Gelonezi ran pocket sevens into the eights of Dvoress. Dvoress made a sizable double through Geci with ace-queen versus ace-jack and the pair traded the chip lead back and forth during four-handed action.

Urbanovich saw his bid to take the title home for his sponsor come to an end in fourth place after Dvoress flopped a set with pocket queens to leave his ace-queen drawing all but dead on the flop. Correia then doubled through both Geci and Dvoress to leave the latter short-stacked and dealt the final blow minutes later with a straight-over-straight to send the Canadian star out in third.

It took two attempts for Correia and Geci to settle on a deal, but once agreed both players took home over $700k, leaving $50,000 in the middle to play for. After Correia had dwindled down to the short stack, he lost his final nine big blinds in a limped pot. Correia check-called the min-bet of Geci on the trey-ace-six-ten board. The river was a king and Correia check-tank-called the shove of Geci with ten-deuce but Geci held ace-king for top two for the pot, the win, the title, and the extra $50,000.
