WPT Asia Online, presented by Poker King, is in full swing and has already crowned five of its champions. Those champions now have their names forever written into the World Poker Tour's history books, but the best is yet to come thanks to the Mini Main Event attracting a bumper crowd, and the Main Event set to draw in a massive field, too.

Event #1: NLHE Warm-Up (6-max)

"AAAAQ" got WPT Asia Online off to a flying start by outlasting 704 opponents in Event #1: NLHE Warm-Up (6-max). The ¥220 ($34.50) buy-in tournament awarded its winner ¥27,438 ($4,300), giving them plenty of ammunition for the rest of the exciting series.

Event #2: NLHE 1 Million Gtd

Event #2: NLHE 1 Million Gtd saw 907 players exchange ¥1,100 ($172.50) for the chance to become a WPT Asia Online champion. The ¥1 Million ($156,700) prize pool was shared among the top 109 finishers, but it was "Woshuaiwoleyi89" who got their hands on their lion's share of the prize money, namely a cool ¥191,400 ($29,990).

Event #3: Short Deck Progressive Bounties

The third event on the WPT Asia Online schedule was the ¥220 ($34.50) buy-in Short Deck Progressive Bounties tournament, which saw 547 players create a ¥120,340 ($18,850) prize pool. When the dust had settled, only "Qzidangtou" had chips in front of them, and those chips equated to a ¥19,106 ($2,995) pay day.

Event #4: NLHE Progressive Bounties $500K GTD

"xixixiHao" won the second-largest prize of the festival so far courtesy of triumphing in the ¥1,100 buy-in Event #4: NLHE Progressive Bounties $500K GTD. Some 716 players turned out in force for the tournament and xixixiHao outlasted them all to turn their ¥1,100 ($172.50) investment into a much more substantial ¥116,135 ($18,200).

Event #5: Hyper Turbo NLHE

The fifth champion of the WPT Asia Online series so far is none other than "Xugaoxing" who took down the ¥220 ($34.50) buy-in Event #5: Hyper Turbo NLHE. Xugaoxing navigated their way past 643 opponents in the fast-structured tournament and walked away with ¥24,935 ($3,910) for their efforts.

The Mini Main Event is only mini in name because some 1,496 players bought into it across the two starting flights. Day 2 concludes on November 17.

It is the ¥2,200 ($345.75) buy-in Main Event that everyone has their eyes on. It comes with an impressive ¥10 million ($1,567,000) guaranteed prize pool. Stay tuned to PokerNews to find out which Poker King players gets their hands on the Main Event title and its potentially six-figure top prize.
