Kovalski Leads $25K WCOOP Super High Roller; Sixth WCOOP Title for Nevanlinna

The 2021 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) showcased its largest buy-in event on the schedule this festival at PokerStars this Sunday, with 15 champions also crowned.
Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna won the sixth WCOOP title of his career. That draws him level with Tobias "Senkel92" Leknes, with only Shaun Deeb (8) and Denis Strebkov (9) having won more.
Meanwhile, former SCOOP Main Event champion Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi won his second WCOOP title.

Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski Leads Final 15 in the WCOOP $25K Super High Roller
Just 15 players remain from a field of 116 in the WCOOP 34-H: $25,000 Super High Roller with Fabiano "Kovalski1" Kovalski leading the way. He was involved in the largest pot of the day when he eliminated Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood towards the end of the day, when his pocket aces held against the Canadian's ace-king.
Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos andChris "ImDaNuts" Oliver were the only players to bag more than three million in chips.

The blinds will resume with the remainder of Level 20 (20,000/40,000/5,000a) and increase every 30 minutes until a winner is crowned.

Daniel Smiljkovic Leads 79 Players Going into Day 2 of WCOOP 34-M: $2,100 NLHE
The first day of the WCOOP 34-M: $2,100 NLHE is in the books and 79 players will return for Day 2 to battle in the 2021 World Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars. The $1,000,000 guarantee attracted 614 entries to generate a $1,228,000 prize pool, with $214,339 available to the winner.
Germany’s Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic (pictured)finished a wild Day 1 as chip leader and 78 others will return on Monday August 30 to make a run at the final table. Other notable players to advance to Day 2 were Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle and former Sunday Million Anniversary winner Vanessa "Niffller" Kade .

2021 WCOOP Results From August 29
Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna won his sixth WCOOP title in Event 29-H: $2,100 8-Game, with fellow Finn "mahmuttt88" winning their second WCOOP title five years after their first.
There was also a second WCOOP title for former SCOOP Main Event winner Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi who won almost $125,000 in the WCOOP 37-H: $5,200 PKO High Roller.
